I’m Katie Honan, a senior reporter at THE CITY since 2021 who usually covers government and politics. But I also grew up on the beach, in Rockaway Park, with a ion for the water and a hope every year that I’ll have the best summer ever. I’ll be anchoring the newsletter with help from my colleagues, sharing my summer thoughts and know-how from a lifetime of living in New York.
